Biorevitalization

Gentle collagen stimulation

Over the years, the skin's natural collagen production slows. This can show up as loss of firmness, dull texture, or the first fine lines presenting themselves.

Biorevitalization stimulates fibroblasts in the dermis to produce new collagen and elastin. No needles, no visible flaking.

The formula combines three active ingredients. Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) activates fibroblasts in the dermis. Hydrogen peroxide modulates the effect at the skin's surface, so the outermost layer (the epidermis) stays intact. Kojic acid supports a more even tone by inhibiting tyrosinase – an enzyme involved in melanin production. This can help reduce hyperpigmentation and balance the complexion.

The treatment is suitable year-round and combines well with other therapies as part of a long-term Skin Longevity plan.

What should you do?

A treatment series typically consists of three to five sessions, one to two weeks apart. A single session takes 30 minutes. Your first appointment takes 40 minutes, including consultation. No specific preparation is needed. You can return to your day right after the treatment. Wearing make-up is possible from the day following a treatment.

How often?
During the initial series, treatment takes place three to five times, one to two weeks apart. Afterwards, biorevitalization can be repeated regularly and integrated into your Skin Longevity plan. Many guests choose a follow-up treatment every one to three months, depending on their individual treatment plan.
When better not?
  • During pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • In case of known allergies to trichloroacetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, or kojic acid
  • In case of active skin infections, open wounds, or inflammation in the treatment area
  • In case of an active herpes outbreak in the treatment area
  • If you recently had injection or peel treatments in the same area – in this case, we will clarify the appropriate interval individually during the consultation.
How much does the treatment cost?

Price

  • 1 zone: CHF 200

How does biorevitalization work?

Biorevitalization combines three active ingredients in one formula: trichloroacetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, and kojic acid. Each plays a different role. Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) penetrates the outermost layer of the skin (the epidermis) and reaches the deeper layer of the skin (the dermis). There, it activates fibroblasts, the cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin. Hydrogen peroxide modulates the activity of TCA at the skin's surface and reduces the epidermal reaction. The surface stays intact. Kojic acid supports a more even tone by inhibiting tyrosinase – an enzyme involved in melanin production. This can help reduce unwanted hyperpigmentation and make the complexion appear more balanced. The formulation is suitable for all skin types. The biomechanical mechanism and short-term clinical outcomes are well established, including randomized controlled trial (RCT) studies.

FAQ

We don't like unanswered questions. If you can't find what you are looking for, let us know!

How is biorevitalization different from a regular chemical peel?

A classical peel causes visible flaking and several days of recovery. With biorevitalization, the skin surface stays intact, because hydrogen peroxide modulates the reaction at the epidermis. TCA still acts on fibroblasts deeper in the skin, in the dermis and stimulates collagen production there. The effect takes place at depth, not at the surface.

Will I see results after a single session?

Yes, on a different timeline than the structural improvement. The evening of the treatment, most guests see a first glow from the immediate hydration response. The structural improvement in firmness and texture develops over the weeks of a series, as new collagen forms. A single session can also make sense, for example before a special occasion.

Is biorevitalization a good option for me if I am afraid of needles?

Yes. The active ingredients are applied to the skin and massaged in. No needles  involved.

Can I combine biorevitalization with other treatments?

Biorevitalization pairs well with treatments such as Crystal Peel or RF Needling, because it works through a different mechanism and requires only a short recovery phase. We often recommend a more intensive treatment cycle as a first step – for example with biostimulators or RF Needling – followed by biorevitalization for continuous collagen stimulation and maintenance of results. Based on your skin goals, we will discuss the best suited combination during the initial consultation.

When is the best time to start a series?

Year-round. Biorevitalization requires no UV pause, the skin barrier stays intact. Summer is particularly suitable, because some other collagen-stimulating treatments are less suitable during periods with a higher UV index. Biorevitalization can help close any potential seasonal gaps in a long-term plan.
